while Rick may be a little over dramatic with his announcement, his
feeling that Jaiku is falling to pieces is shared by a fair number
of us. I loved Jaiku when I first joined but every time something
breaks and there's no or slow word from you guys I feel it less and
less.
Sorry, I didn't mean to post this in two places. And yes, I'm
rather melodramatic, but when you get emails from half a dozen
services every two minutes when the API is down, your patience
wears thin very fast.
And it sucks to see all these new sites pop up that repurpose
Twitter info in some interesting way, while Jaiku languishes. We
complain because we know the site is great and could compete.
Otherwise we'd shrug and move on.

I'm not feeling the jaiku love either. Flickr feeds use to be near instant now you're lucky if its within 24hrs if at all
